Okay, so As Ruff As U Like, and this is one of my favourite products, in fact, it’s the hairdressers’ favourite. It’s a product to make your hair messy and scruffy but it’s a clay based product so it’s got that matte kind of dry finish to it. So you start off using a little bit, about that much [the size of a pea], yeah, and massage it into your hands until it completely disappears so there’s nothing left. The other secret is you mustn’t look in the mirror, when you put it on, because if you look in mirror you try to style it as you’re doing it, you know?

Just get it right into your Barnet, and once it’s all off of your hands and on your hair, and it’s all sticking up like that, then you can decide how much you’re going to flatten it down and how much you’re going to sort of style it.
