I met Stacey in 2005 and knew at once that we were entirely like-minded creative hairdressers. I realised that by making Stacey part of my team, we could double the power of education at Lee Stafford Salons.
I feel Stacey has so much to offer my company, and feel that he brings a depth of expertise from his high profile career so far. I am very much looking forward to working closely with him, and continuing my own interest in education
Stacey Broughton joined Vidal Sassoon in 1975 as a stylist. Within five years he had been made Art Director and began training new staff in the Academy. He was extensively involved with Vidal Sassoon’s new collections in the UK and began to develop new cutting ideas, before deciding to leave the company to further his own personal goals. He opened a hair training school in Hong Kong, travelled all over Australia and Asia, and hosted many shows and seminars. He then moved back to London, to work in the Vidal Sassoon South Molton Street salon as their leading Art Director, before moving onto teaching in the brand new Academy, becoming a leading ambassador for the company.
Stacey was very much responsible for the overall Vidal Sassoon look, through his strong, influential role in the direction of their seasonal collections. He also creatively designed all Vidal Sassoon shoots, shows and seminars around the world. He brings his wealth and expertise and creative drive to Lee Stafford Salons.
I am so delighted to be part of the dynamic team at Lee Stafford Salons. It will be fantastic challenge and I am very much looking forward to increasing the awareness of ongoing education within the company, and contribute to their already extremely high standard
