LEE STAFFORD PROdUCTS

Not Tested on Animals

Quite a few of you have asked about my products in relation to animal testing. To put your minds at rest I’ve asked QBC, who produce my products to set out our position.

The Quantum Beauty Company

Animal Testing

Policy Statement

The Quantum Beauty Company does not initiate animal tests on finished products or ingredients either directly or indirectly. All ingredients used are carefully monitored and suppliers are asked to provide written evidence of the date they were last tested.

The recently adopted EU Cosmetics Directive confirmed the ban on the animal testing of ingredients used in cosmetic products with a cut off date of 11th March 2009. After this date ingredients used in cosmetic products must not be tested on animals. It is a requirement of new product development that only ingredients that comply with this testing ban are used in our products.

It is in fact the case that the majority of ingredients have never been tested on animals or for those that have been tested on animals this was done prior to 1990 to ensure product safety parameters.

The Quantum Beauty Company is against the suffering endured by animals when ingredients and products are tested. We support organisations who are developing alternative methods of testing which satisfy the legal requirements, without using animals.

The finished product is never tested on animals.
