I am so excited about running the Scissorhands Academy! It is going to be one of the biggest challenges of my life!

My mission is to train nine chosen celebrities in the virtually impossible task of learning to become a hairdresser in one month. The nine celebrities will be doing the haircuts in the salon and their victims will be the public as well as other celebrities!

I am going to treat the celebrities as my trainees, nothing more, nothing less! My goal will be to turn them into hairdressers that will be able to work in any salon in the country… in an impossibly short space of time. To help with the training, I’m joined by experts from the world of hairdressing, make-up, and beauty.

There will be cameras everywhere, and no where to hide, so the celebrities will have walk the extra mile for this task — 110% of blood, sweat and tears will be required at all times!

Celebrity Scissorhands will be a rollercoaster ride… the combination of bad haircuts, tears, tantrums and a confessional diary room will definitely be the ultimate must see TV!

But don’t forget what really counts in the end, and that is helping to raise money for BBC Children In Need… so make sure that everyone gets donating!
