Episode 7

With my friend and top photographer Wolfgang Mustang in tow, I set off for Prague in search of great new models to style for the Hairdresser of Year Awards. The next day the Lee Stafford Salons cavalry, our art team, arrive. After commandeering a local salon we let our imaginations’ run riot and try out a bunch of new ideas.

But as with every working holiday there’s always a little tension, and after a river-side supper, me and Wolfgang have a tiff.

Episode 8

Lee Stafford and Anthony Costa

Onto day three of our Prague adventure and with the studio hired and the team busying themselves on styling, a crisis hits. Nobody realised we had to pay for the whole shoot and studio in cash; and with the dark clouds gathering above, everybody makes for the cash point.

On returning to London, Blue’s Anthony Costa drops in for an early morning trim and a chat, and then it’s back to the third round of Crop Idol as the contestants face the mannequin challenge.

Episode 9

Lee Stafford and the Cheeky Girls show off their stomachs

Crop Idol continues and you’ll see the results of the timed cuts. With the selection reduced to the final two they face the Crop Off, they’re cutting each others’ hair for the winning spot.

Then it’s on to the Cheeky Girls’ penthouse flat for a cut and from there, to the London premiere of Scooby Doo 2, and a late night mingling with celebrities.

The following day my friends at Redken have a press launch and I get to chat about hair with the Sugababes’ Keisha White before the pleasure of seeing her perform on stage.

Episode 10

Crop Idol II; the search for the receptionist. As our assistants and receptionists are the first people you’ll meet when dropping into any of my salons, they’ve got to be good. Me and my panel put the applicants through their paces to find the best of best, and we get to do a bit of role playing too.
